What's involved

This form contains few short questions about you and your smoking behaviour, to help us determine if you're eligible to take part in an interview.

If you are eligible, we’ll then send you a link to book your call with our researcher at a time that works for you.

The interview will involve talking on a call to a researcher about your experience using Smoke Free. It will take place on Microsoft Teams - you do not need an account and you can keep your camera off if preferred.

You do not need to have successfully quit, or even used much of the app - we’re keen to hear a range of experiences.
Voluntary Your participation is completely voluntary.
You can skip any questions or stop at any time, without giving a reason. Just let us know and we'll stop contacting you and delete anything that still identifies you. Anonymous write-ups can't be traced back and will not be able to be deleted.
Duration This survey is expected to take up to 3 minutes. If you are eligible to take part in an interview, your video call will take around 45 minutes.
Payment This short survey will not be paid. If you are eligible and join the interview, you will receive a £50 shopping voucher as a thank you for your time.
Data protection
Your call will be recorded and auto-transcribed using Microsoft Teams. An AI tool may also assist with analysing your answers, but anything that could identify you is removed before the answers are analysed. Your information is never used to train AI models. You can read more in our privacy policy.

This study is run with the help of Dr Rosie Webster, who'll collect your information using our tools and on our behalf, under an agreement with us. Smoke Free stays responsible for your data throughout.
